A PLACE TO JUST “BE”.
Footprints is an accompanied baby and toddler group held in the church hall. It’s very relaxed, you can turn up when you want to and it’s free of charge. Whether you’re mum, dad, auntie, grandparent, carer or childminder – you’re welcome here.
FOR THE BABIES AND TODDLERS
There’s plenty of toys, books and puzzles for your little one to play with. Around 10:30-ish we have a storytime with a few nursery rhymes, grace and then a healthy snack time. Other than that, it’s pretty unstructured… and there’s no pressure to make your little one sit for storytime or join in the songs. If they’d rather play with the train set, that’s no problem at all.
FOR YOU
But this is also a space for you. There’s friendly people to chat to, hot drinks, and a chance to sit down! We want this to be a place where it’s easy to just be yourself. Whether you’re beaming with pride at their new thing, at your wits end, or somewhere inbetween – you’ll almost certainly find someone who’s been there. And who hasn’t turned up splattered with weetabix at some point? There’s no judgement here!
WHEN?
After the summer, we’ll be back for our first session on Tuesday 13th September 2016. After that, Footprints is every Tuesday in term time, from 9am until about noon – drop in for as little or as long as you’d like to. If you prefer it a little calmer we recommended coming either at the beginning or near the end.
