Fundraising Update Dec 2023
As the year comes to a close, we are reflecting once again on God’s faithfulness to us and the huge blessing the community and all our supporters have been this year. In 2023 through events, donations and grants we have added over £45,000 to our fundraising total!
This last term we have held a busy car boot sale on the village common and a fun evening brimful of sea shanties with the Shanty Folk! We have also been kindly sponsored by St Mary’s Church, who helped us to fundraise at their ‘Harvest Hop’ and the Stour Valley Singers, who raised funds for us at their amazing ‘Not Quite Christmas’ concert. A huge thank you to everyone who made these occasions such a success!
We are delighted with the progress our builders have made on the new corridor – do drop by and take a look if you would like to see it! The glass is now in and we are awaiting our industry-standard, disabled access, toddler finger-friendly new door(!) which is on order.
We are continuing to apply for grants and are putting together exciting plans for events in 2024, hopefully we can find something to tickle your fancy!
